What Lab Tests Tell Your Physician
Presented by Dr. Andrew Bartlett, D.O., Christie Internist

Laboratory tests check a sample of your blood, urine, or body tissues. It's easy to take these tests for granted, but their power to keep you healthier longer should not be underestimated. What exactly is your doctor looking for? All the tests use a range because what is normal differs from person to person. Many factors affect test results, including your sex, age and race; what you eat and drink; and medicines you take. Dr. Andrew Bartlett will discuss the importance of testing and exactly how your primary care physician assesses those lab tests.
