Dr. William Youngerman, MD, Department of Allergy/ENT, Christie Clinic


In Christie Clinic’s Department of Allergy/ENT, Dr. Youngerman treats patients with disorders and illnesses of the ears, nose, throat, and neck. As an Otolaryngologist, his special medical interests include allergies and the medical and surgical treatment of sinus and ear disease.

Dr. Youngerman received his BS from Yale and his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He did his internship at St. Paul-Ramsey Hospital in Minnesota. He completed residencies in General Surgery at Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital and in Otolaryngology at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary and at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Youngerman is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and has professional memberships in the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Illinois Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and the American Medical Association. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Christie Foundation for 20 years.

When Dr. Youngerman isn’t practicing medicine, he enjoys skiing and running.
