Eager Runners Attend 7th Annual Symposium
It was a full house at the 7th Annual Runners’ Symposium on Saturday, February 9th at the I Hotel. The two-hour symposium, sponsored by the Christie Foundation, helps educate runners planning to compete in the upcoming Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon on April 25-27.
American distance runner and three-time Olympian Craig Virgin was the featured speaker along with Suze Scaroni, U.S. Paralympic Wheelchair Racing Team. Christie Clinic providers from the departments of orthopedics and physical therapy sharing race training tips including Dr. Scott Paluska, Dr. Sarah Spizzirri and Rachel Zubricky, DPT.
