2015 Christie Foundation Health Education Scholarship Awards
Nearly 200 people attended the Christie Foundation’s Health Education Scholarship Award Ceremony and Reception on Wednesday, May 13 at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center in Urbana. Over $100,000 in scholarships was awarded to109 students at the event to pursue their studies in medicine for the 2015-2016 school year. In addition, the Christie Foundation also gifted the University of Illinois College of Medicine $15,000 for scholarships. The evening also featured encouraging words of wisdom about the value of healthcare education from guest speaker, and Christie Clinic physician, Dr. Candace McGregor.
